Civitas is a scientific, multidisciplinary international journal. The journal publishes papers based on rigorous standards of theoretical and empirical research in the areas of law, security studies, psychology, philology and economics, as well as disciplines related to these.Moreover, CIVITAS welcomes works based on interdisciplinary research contributing to the aforementioned areas of study in an original and innovative way.
Any papers submitted for publication is subjected to a double independent anonymous review by experts in the given field. Authors are requested to present their theses clearly and in a methodologically correct manner with the goal of stimulating further scientific work and academic debate related to the subject matter.
CIVITAS has been published continuously since 2011 by Fakultet za pravne i poslovne studije dr Lazar Vrkatić in PDF format and in print. From 2011 to 2016, the Editor-in-Chief was Professor Boris Kršev. As of 2016, the Editor-in-Chief is Professor Vladimir Njegomir. The journal is issued twice a year in printed and electronic form.
CIVITAS is an open access journal. All papers are published under creative commons license CC BY.
